FAIRHOPE, Ala. — Three mystic societies will parade through the downtown streets of Fairhope in the next few days. All will be serpentining their way using the route shown in the adjacent graphic.
Here is the schedule:
Saturday, Feb. 14 7 p.m., The Knights of Ecor Rouge, the oldest parading society in Baldwin County, will present its silver anniversary parade, "25 Nights of Knights."
Friday, Feb. 20, 6:45 p.m., The Maids of Jubilee, the oldest female parading society in Baldwin County, will present its silver anniversary parade, "Reminiscing - 25 Years."
Monday, Feb. 23, 6:45 p.m., The Order of Mystic Magnolias will present "Hooray for Hollywood."
Additionally, the following parades will be held in Fairhope that will use other parade routes:
Feb. 13, 1 p.m., the K-1 Center Children's Parade will march along De La Mare Avenue and Fairhope Avenue between Section and Church streets.
Feb. 14, 3:30 p.m., the 6th Annual Mystic Mutts of Revelry parade will march along Fairhope Avenue and Section Street. This Mardi Gras event is a fundraiser for The Haven, a nonprofit organization that rescues and rehabilitates abused, abandoned and neglected dogs and cats.
Feb. 21, 2 p.m., The 8th Annual Krewe of Mullet Mates Mardi Gras parade will roll down County Road 1 between Mullet Point Park to Pelican Point.
