The Fairhope Fete Fashion Show, held Oct. 10 at The Venue in Fairhope, featured hot new styles for children, men and women from famous boutiques and clothing stores in the area. Restaurants and businesses helped ensure the evening's success. Known as a “Week of Global Fashion,” Fairhope Fete continued through Oct. 19 with trunk shows and demonstrations. Photo collage elements were taken during the Oct. 10 fashion show. Fairhope Fete's celebration of fashion and the Fairhope area has joined as part of Polo at the Point, an event that fundraises for local charities and celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. These events lead up to the Oct. 26 Polo at the Point, where the sporting event will raise money for USA Mitchell Cancer Institute and Thomas Hospital Foundation. The event has benefitted cancer research, local non-profits and children’s charities for the past 24 years, according to poloatthepoint.com.
