Fairhope High School students participated in a canned- food drive sponsored by the school's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) club. Each homeroom was asked to donate cans throughout the week. At the end of the week, the homeroom with the most cans collected received a complimentary breakfast from a fast food restaurant. A school-wide goal was set at 1,000 cans. After five days of collecting, the goal was surpassed with a total of 3,347 canned goods collected. Mrs. Julie Lazzari's homeroom was the winning homeroom with their contribution of over 500 cans. The canned goods were donated to Ecumenical Ministries in downtown Fairhope. The FBLA members would like to thank every student, teacher, and parent that contributed to the success of this event.
