Recently, a select group of Fairhope High School’s FBLA members traveled to Montgomery to attend the Joint Leadership Development Conference. The conference provided opportunities for the students to attend various sessions that focused on career skill-building, self-improvement, communication, and chapter management of their local club. The students also had the opportunity to branch out and meet, and interact with other high school students from Alabama that share the same goals, interest, and motivation to succeed. The highlight of the convention was the guest speaker and motivational speaker, Rhett Lauback, and nationally recognized keynote speaker and illusionist, Brad Barton.
