FAIRHOPE, Ala. — The Fairhope Police Department will host a public commemorative prayer and brief service on Thursday to mark the Sept. 11 attacks.
This event will mark the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks and will honor the emergency responders who gave the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Police and Fire Department personnel will be joined by local pastors and residents as they remember the heroes of that September day in 2001. The prayer will begin at 9 a.m. by the 9/11 Monument in front of the Fairhope Police Department. For information, call 251-929-1477.
