For the Pirates, QB Chase Domino went 11-for-16 passing for 187 yards with two touchdowns thrown and scored twice on the ground with 59 yards on eight carries. Tanner Martin rushed for 79 yards on 12 carries and scored on a 6-yard burst off tackle. Nate Andrews scored twice and caught six passes from Domino for 126 yards. Nick Cutrone was 5-for-5 from the point-after kick mark. For the Toros, Joel Poe was 17-of-25 for 256 yards connecting on all three touchdowns, two of them under pressure. Two to Deon Johnson (70, 5 yards) and one to Blain Crain (85 yards). Crain caught four for 129 yards and Johnson nine for 101 yards. Smith ran 11 times for 57 yards and Ed Autrey picked up 50 yards on six carries. Alexander Theodore hit all three of his PAT attempts. Both teams begin region competition next weekend. SFHS will host 5A Region 1 and county rival Gulf Shores while Fairhope will face McGill-Toolen Catholic at Lipscomb Field in a Region 2 6A match up.
