SPANISH FORT, Ala. — The Spanish Fort Town Center is bringing the Disc-Connected K9s — World Famous Frisbee Dogs to town Aug. 21-22 for a weekend of fun and free shows.

Trainer Lawrence and his team of incredible dogs are the most widely recognized Frisbee dog team in the world (with a world record 26 World Finals appearances). As a dog lover, and a former human Frisbee World Champion, Lawrence travels around the world sharing his expertise and wowing crowds as part of the Disc-Connected K9’s Frisbee Dog Team.

The team has performed in Paris, Acapulco, Canada, Japan and just about every state in the U.S.

You may have also seen them on television with David Letterman, Jay Leno, Kathy & Regis, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, ESPN or “Good Morning America.”

All of the shows are family oriented; carry a message of fun, athleticism and canine bonding; and promote dog rescuing.

Their routines are choreographed to music, defy the normal relationship between man and canine and leave even the oldest of children with a smile on their face and in their heart.

And to make it even more interesting, all of the dogs are “rescue” dogs, meaning they were either abandoned or homeless and came from shelters, the Humane Society, etc.

You will be laughing and clapping in awe at the tricks these dogs perform.

“Dog Days of Summer with the Disc-Connected K9s — World famous Frisbee Dogs,” a free, family fun event, will be presented at the Spanish Fort Town Center Aug 21 for shows at 11 a.m., and 4 and 7 p.m. There will also be shows Aug. 22 at 1:30 and 4 p.m.

Watch the Frisbee Dogs perform award-winning Frisbee stunts and meet the team after each show.

Cool off with cold drinks and snacks sold by local organizations.

In between shows, shop at the Bass Pro Shops, Kohl’s, JCPenney, Sephora, La-Z-Boy, Kangarooz and more.

Plus, support the Baldwin County Humane Society and bring pet food for the Pet Food Pantry Collection.

The Spanish Fort Town Center is located at the northeast corner of I-10 and Hwy. 90/98 in Spanish Fort.
