Federal Grant Provides Free Weekly Fruits And Vegetables To Magnolia School

Posted

Magnolia School is privileged to have “free” fruits and vegetables, weekly for snack, provided through a Federal Grant. Last week Dady’s Corn came and brought students and faculty roasted corn. They roasted the corn in a machine that had an inflated corn on the top. Then they put the roasted corn in a cooler. Next, a kind lady with gloves took out the corn and dipped it in a can of butter. The students received the corn wrapped in paper towels. They were able to spice the roasted corn with ranch powder, salt, parmesan, Cajun, and more. The corn was delicious as students enjoyed it outside during P.E. Magnolia School wants to thank “Dady’s Corn” for coming and providing students with such a yummy snack.
