John James Feely, 71 of Elberta, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 2009.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Shelby Feely of Celina, Texas; two daughters, Bridget (Norman) Alms of Elberta and Jennifer (Mike) Chapman of Celina, Texas; three sons, Ted (Dee) Feely of Mobile, Howard Feely of Elberta and Sean (Ingrid) Feely of Grovetown, Ga.,; step-daughter, Julie (Lee) Wilson of Mobile; step-son, Shelby Barton of Mobile; sister, Margie (Frank) Beeby of Pensacola, Fla.;’ four brothers, Jimmy (Joan) Feely of Elberta, Tommy (Kay) Feely of Elberta, Kenny (Thelma) Feely of Foley and Patrick “Bo” (Josie) Feely of Elberta; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Rosary service and Mass of Christian Burial were held Monday, March 2 at St. Bartholomew’s Catholic Church, Elberta with the Rev. Howard R. Moussier, OSB, officiating.
Arrangements are by Cason Funeral Service, Foley.
