Johnnie Faye Ferguson, 82, a native of Goose Creek, Texas, and a longtime resident of Gulf Shores, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Monroe Countuy Hospital, Monroeville.
She was an active member of Gulfway Assembly of God in Gulf Shores. She was an active member of the “Aglow” International and South Baldwin Literacy Council.
Survivors include a son, Edward Taylor Ferguson Jr. (Rob McFall) of Marietta, Ga.; two daughters, Nancye F. (James) Harris of Uriah and Barbara F. (Bob) McMillan of Monroeville; brother, W. Lee Hollister of Vidor, Texas; three sisters, Jessye H. Finley of New Caney, Texas, Maxine H. Hargraves of Silsbee, Texas, and Elton H. Coward of Woodville, Texas; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. at Pine Rest Funeral Home, Foley Graveside funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at Pine Rest Cemetery with the Rev. David Hunt and Robert McMillan officiating.
