SPANISH FORT, Ala.— The hallways of Westminster Village come alive through Dec. 15 with sparkling lights from 50 small, uniquely decorated Christmas, according to Kay Brown Korb, director of marketing.
“This will be our sixth year of displaying the beautifully designed and crafted 3-foot trees donated by businesses and patrons of the village,” she said. “Our theme this year is tied to Westminster’s silver anniversary. The … trees will be on display … (through Dec. 15).
“On Sunday, Dec. 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. we will have an open house at the village including a silent auction, homemade craft items for purchase, music, entertainment, food by our own Chef Breck and lots of holiday cheer!”
Proceeds of the silent auction and craft sale will be donated to the city of Spanish Fort to be used toward the construction of a new community center and to the Westminster Village Foundation.
Bids may be made by visiting Westminster before 2 p.m. on Dec. 7.
Visitation hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
Westminster Village is located at 500 Spanish Fort Blvd. off route 31.
