DAPHNE, Ala.—The Eastern Shore Women’s Ministry will host its fifth annual women’s conference  Jan. 30-31 at Bay Community Church. This year’s conference will focus on “Reaching Up–In Times Like These.” It has been designed to encourage, inspire and minister to women of all ages, faiths and walks of life.

Linda Powell, director of the Eastern Shore Women’s Ministry, said “Given the trying times that we are facing with the economy, with apathy toward the Church, and with various groups trying to take God out of everything, the place we should go is to the Lord.  Let’s reach up to Him for the guidance and strength we need because He is there for us.”
