Magnolia Springs, Ala. - Jesse's Restaurant in Magnolia Springs will hold the first ever Jesse's Seafood celebration on April 2 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in front of the town's fire department.
The Magnolia Springs Town Council unanimously approved the event request at last week's council meeting.
"(You guys) put a tremendous amount of work into this," Councilman Bob Holk said to restaurant owner Nicole Houser. "I don't see any problem with it."
The event will cost $25 for residents to attend, and it will include two live bands along with beer and wine. Around 10 restaurants from South Baldwin County will attend.
Funds raised from the event will benefit the Magnolia Springs Kiwanis Club and St. Paul's Chapel in Magnolia Springs.
