Fishing trip benefits Gulf Shores church aid group

ORANGE BEACH, AL. — On October 21, Captain Joe Nash of the “Cool Change” sponsored his third annual fishing trip to benefit the Christian Service Center. Captain Nash and his deckhands donated all proceeds and tips from the trip to the Center. The fishermen and women caught white snapper, trigger fish, beeliners and a King Mackerel. While the boaters weren’t fishing, pods of dolphin provided thrilling entertainment.

In its 21st year, the Christian Service Center is a "Hand Up" rather than a "Hand Out" agency. Clients are given immediate emergency aid as well as guidance on finding solutions to problems. The CSC is a 100% volunteer agency funded by the churches of Pleasure Island, various community organizations, including the United Way of Baldwin County, and interested individuals. For more information please call the CSC at 251-968-5256 or visit our web page, www.cscgs.com.
