Agnes Miller Fleming, 95, born Feb. 27, 1915 in Waunakee, Wis., a resident of Fairhope since 1949, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010.

She was a member of Saint Lawrence Catholic Church where she was active in the Lady's Altar Sodality, Knights of Columbus Lady's Auxiliary, and a choir member. She was active in the community with East Fairhope Home Demonstration Club, Leader of East Fairhope 4-H club, member of Alabama Farm Bureau, Golden Guernsey Cattle Association, and Alabama Cattlemen's Association. She worked for the Food Nutrition Energy Pilot Program through Auburn University from 1965-1979.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Arthur Fleming. They raised their family on a farm outside of Fairhope.

Survivors include six children, Janet (Ed) Antoine of Fairhope, Jack (Debbie) Fleming of Spanish Fort, Jim Fleming (Brother Francis) of Mobile, Kitty Stratis of Birmingham, Patty (Don) Rohan of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and Mary Jane (Dale) Vines of Fairhope; 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Cecil Endres, of Sauk City, Wis., and Dorthy (William) Meinholz of Middleton, Wis.; brother-in-law, Ivan (Esther) Fleming of Reedsburg, Wis.; and sister-in-law, Ann Fleming of Riverside, Calif.; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 18 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. The Rosary will be recited at 5:30. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 19 at Saint Lawrence Catholic Church. Interment will followed at Belforest Catholic Cemetery.
