Flora Luvern Phelps, 84, a native of Elberta and resident of Foley, died Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013.
Mrs. Phelps was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Phelps; daughter, Nancy Dukes; and son, Steve Rice.
She is survived by her daughters, Claudia Jane Bullock of Foley and Falbey Spittle of Leesburg, Fla.; son, Allen Rice of Gulf Shores; sister, Bobbie Walker of Smith Station, Ala.; grandson, Thurston (Whitney) Bullock of Gulf Shores; grandson, Cleve Spittle of Leesburg, Fla.; grandson, Berton (Ruby) Bullock of Fairhope; granddaughter, Jennifer Dukes of Foley; grandson, Brian (Megan) Spittle of Leesburg, Fla.; and granddaughter, Paige Dukes of Foley.
Funeral services for Mrs. Phelps will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013 at the chapel of Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley, with interment to follow in Pine Rest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, directly preceding the service.
