Floreda W. Hays, a native of Lowndes County and a resident of Fairhope, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012.
Hays is survived by her husband, Thado Hays, Mendenhall, Miss; one daughter, Angie Watkins, Fairhope; three grandsons, James Watkins of Jacksonville, Archieben Shufford of Atlanta, Ga., and Archie Shufford of North Carolina, one granddaughter, Tawana Morrison of Saginaw, Mich., and six great-grandchildren; two stepsons and a host of step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. Also special friends and caregivers Betty Lee and Tristen Harris. Funeral services for Hays will be held Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at 10 a.m. from the Fairhope Church of God in Christ with a visitation from 9 a.m. until time of the service. Burial will follow at the Twin Beech Cemetery, Fairhope. Arrangements are by Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, Robertsdale.
