Fairhope Middle School students in Michelle Jordan’s 8th grade math classes recently completed a geometry project on the school walls. Using painter’s tape, they were required to create a polygon that had at least 4 sides (one of which had to measure 2 feet) and one angle measuring 60 degrees. They then had to find the sum of the interior angles and the area of their figures. Pictured, with their polygon, from left to right, are: Hannah Racine, Emerald Agee, and Carly Greisinger.
