Fairhope Middle School proudly recognizes Ms. Angela Boyer, its 2011-2012 Teacher of the Year. Ms. Boyer is a highly qualified teacher that currently teaches 8th grade science. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Science Education from Troy State and her Master’s of Education in Science Education from Auburn University. Serving as the FMS 8th grade chairperson, Ms. Boyer has taught a total of 14 years, 7 of which have been at Fairhope Middle School. She is both AMSTI and eMINTS certified. This summer Ms. Boyer hopes to begin working on an Educational Specialist degree in Instructional Technology. She would eventually like to assist other teachers in efficiently utilizing technology and resources in their classrooms. Angela was chosen by the faculty for her dedication to the success of her students and her enthusiastic teaching methods. Ms. Boyer is the mother of two daughters, Lillian and Eleanor.
