At the Foley council meeting of Thursday, May 24, Mayor John Koniar proclaimed May 2018 as Building Safety Month. During the proclamation, Koniar acknowledged the “essential service provided to all of us by local safety and building departments, fire prevention bureaus, and federal agencies in protecting life and property.”
