FOLEY — Foley’s real estate market continued to grow over the first nine months of 2015.

Numbers from the Foley single-family housing market moved in a possitive direction across the board over the first nine months of this year.

The Foley single-family market includes homes in Foley, Summerdale, Silverhill, Robertsdale, Elberta, Bon Secour, Magnolia Springs and Lillian.

Through nine months, the numbers are as follows;

—    842 homes were sold during the first nine months of this year, up from 713 during the same period last year — an increase of 18 percent

—    The median price also rose year-over-year from $136,800 in 2014 to $146,950 in 2015 — an increase of seven percent.

—    The average sale price of $88 per-square-foot through the first nine months this year was 10 percent higher than the $80 average per-square-foot last year.
