FOLEY — Two Foley men have been charged with burglary.

According to Foley Police Investigations Commander Lt. David White, on Wednesday morning, the Foley Police Department began receiving reports of thefts from several different storage trailers and buildings around Foley.

“Approximately $10,000 in hand tools, power tools and construction equipment were stolen,” he said.

Investigation led Foley Police to follow up on a tip concerning possible suspects and stop a white Chevrolet Trailblazer occupied by the suspects, 22-year-old Jessie Lee Erickson and 24-year-old Samuel Lionel Prim, both of Foley.

“Some of the stolen property was found in the vehicle,” White said.

After further investigation, more of the property was located at a residence on Verbena Avenue.

“In all, the two suspects committed four burglaries,” White said. “All occurred in the late hours of Nov. 13 and the early morning hours of Nov. 14. The victims were located on North Cedar Street, Violet avenue, Verbena Avenue and Dale Lane.”

Upon arrest, Erickson and Prim were both charged with four counts of burglary in the third degree, which is a felony.
