FOLEY, Ala. - The Foley City Council meeting scheduled for Monday has been postponed until May 4 with the work session beginning at 4 p.m. and the business meeting beginning at 5:30 p.m. in Foley City Hall.

    The council usually holds its work session and meeting on the first and third Monday of each month, but this meeting was rescheduled to accommodate council members being at a municipalities conference.

    "It's been rescheduled because we have council members that are going to the Alabama League of Municipalities Conference," Vickie Southern, assistant city clerk, said. "It's Saturday through Tuesday."

    The council will hold a meeting at 3 p.m., before the work session, for the annual audit reading.
