FOLEY — Heritage Harbor days are upon us, and its time to enjoy the seventh annual, award-winning, “national first” cultural heritage exchange. This year’s featured city is Winchester, Tenn.

The dates to remember — Nov. 2 and 3, with the final planned for Nov. 4, 2007.

J.B. Foley Park/Heritage Park will host the three-day event, which includes huge concerts, storytelling, children’s art village, food, crafts, Tennessee walking horses, cloggers, mountain music, fireworks, and of course, “Miss Foley,” the shrimp boat that started it all.

The fest is an original and fun family event. With this spirit in mind, The Foley Convention and Visitors Bureau needs your unique perspective to highlight the arts and crafts found in our region.

Booth space is available for the following artistic media: pottery, glass, textiles, found object collage, tile, candle craft, soap making, furniture, metal smith, and leatherwork. Booth spaces are 10 by 10.

Overnight security is provided. Electrical service is available upon request. The atmosphere will be perfect for hands-on demonstration and discussion of your work.

There is a $15 application fee along with $125 booth fee. Awards totaling $1,000 will be distributed to the arts.

Time is running out, but the Sept. 30 deadline has been extended to October 15.

Decide to make the trip to Uptown Foley and enjoy the excitement this historical setting has to offer. The fun and flavor of the people make this an important showplace for crafts. Be a part of history in the making.
