GULF SHORES, Ala. — Foley's varsity squad outscored Gulf Shores 14-0 en route to a 30-6 win over the Dolphins in a preseason jamboree game on Thursday.

Kalif Koen had an 8-yard touchdown run and quarterback Maison Taylor connected with Alontai Adams for a 58-yard scoring strike in the first quarter. Javian Davis had two touchdown runs in the second half during junior varsity play, and the Lions added a safety in the fourth quarter.

"There were things we did well and some things that we have to work on," Foley head coach Todd Watson said. "We'll go back and watch the film with the kids and try to make those adjustments before we head into next week."

Foley plays Murphy at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile on Thursday in the regular season opener.
