FOLEY, Ala. — More than 50 Foley High School students gathered at the flag pole in front of the school at 7:10 a.m. for “See You at the Pole.”
Established in 1990, the annual event is a student-led time of corporate prayer across the nation.
At FHS, junior Kayla Lazauskas led her peers and adults in singing several contemporary Christian songs. Then fellow junior Jay Tibbs led the remainder of the event, which included classmates reading Scripture. The brief event concluded with attendees joining hands and praying.
The school’s participation in “See You at the Pole” was publicized by FHS Fellowship of Christian Athletes and area churches.
