FOLEY, Ala. – Gulf Shores scored two early touchdowns but Foley roared back to take a 33-14 win over the Dolphins in preseason jamboree on Friday.

Foley senior quarterback Darius Powell carried for a 13-yard score and connected with Tanerious Scott for a score in the second quarter. Kalif Koen added a score for Foley's varsity in the third.

Gulf Shores quarterback Brandon Silvers had two touchdown passes in the first quarter to give the Dolphins an early 14-0 lead, but the Dolphins couldn't hold onto the lead.

"I thought we came out sluggish and guys that hadn't played before, you could tell," Foley head coach Todd Watson said. "Without pointing any fingers we had some mistakes that we can't afford to make on both sides of the ball. Once we settled down and got comfortable into what we are doing I thought we executed a little better."
