Foley man charged in sexual abuse cases

FOLEY, Alabama — A Foley man has been charged with three counts of sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12 after two victims were identified by Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office investigators.

According to a release issued Thursday by the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office Investigations Command, 65-year-old James Fell of Foley was booked into the Baldwin County Corrections Center on Wednesday, March 17.According to jail records, he was released Friday, March 19 on a $20,000 bond.

Earlier this month, the Sheriff’s Office received a report of sexual abuse that occurred in the Foley area. Investigators worked with case workers from the Department of Human Resources to investigate the allegations. During the course of the first investigation, a second victim was identified.
