FOLEY — Foley's Glen Lakes Subdivision continues to inch closer to building a new fire station.
As previously reported, this past summer, Glen Lakes residents Don and Sue Vosloh proposed donating land to the city of Foley, with the stipulation that a fire station be placed upon it. Upon agreement with that proposal, the city and Foley Fire Department began moving forward with the endeavor.
During its regular meeting Monday at 5:30 p.m., the Foley City Council will consider a resolution involving the transfer of the property.
Check back here for results of that meeting, with an expanded article in the Dec. 21 edition of The Foley Onlooker.
