FOLEY, Ala. - The Foley Police Department stated Joshua Cameron Imel, 19, of Foley, Aubrey Louis Coggin, 20, of Foley, and Eric Henry Billingsley, 20, of Foley were charged and arrested for a number of alleged breaking and entering a motor vehicle and thefts of property cases.

Foley PD has investigated incidents beginning back in April that occurred in the following local neighborhoods: Glen Lakes; Leisure Lakes; Cambridge Park; Meadowrun Loop; Collinwood Loop; Kennedy Park; and Arbor Walk. The property stolen includes: money; cellular phones; iPod devices; GPS navigation systems; guns; and sunglasses.

"They were opening unlocked car doors and taking items," Lt. David White, investigations commander, stated about the alleged offenders.

Police stated Imel, Coggin and Billingsley confessed and were arrested and 36 Foley cases were closed. Only a few cases remain open, White said.

"These were the majority," he stated.

Police stated Imel and Coggin also confessed to similar cases investigated by the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office and police departments in Fairhope, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Daphne and Loxley. Foley PD stated the offenders confessed to a total of around 150 breaking and entering a motor vehicle and theft from vehicle cases throughout the county.

White said attempts are being made to return the stolen items to the victims.

"Some victims have been contacted but the victims can call the police dept where they filed the report to find out how to recover the property," White stated.

Police also stated a female juvenile and Manquez Deandro Adams, 18, of Foley, were charged with receiving some of the items and knowledge that they were stolen.
