FOLEY, Ala. - The Foley City Council unanimously approved a resolution at Monday's council meeting allowing the Foley Police Department to purchase an audio and video camera and equipment that would upgrade the Investigative Division.
The camera and equipment allow interviews to be recorded and viewed outside of the interview room.
"This gives us recording capabilities in our interviews room that we do not have right now," Foley Police Chief David Wilson said.
The council moved $1,000 from the Small Tools account to Capital Purchases for the equipment addition to the police department.
