FOLEY, Ala. — A Foley Police Department spokesman said Friday afternoon that FPD is investigating a possible fraud case involving Henry Tice, who is described as being from the Pensacola area.
While details are sketchy at this point, Lt. David White said local investigators are looking into allegations that Tice bought 23 cars from Triple B Auto Sales in south Foley and owes the dealership $63,000.
According to news outlets in the Pensacola area, Tice was arrested this week by the Escambia County (Fla.) Sheriff’s Office in connection with business dealings Tice allegedly had with Byrd Billings, the Beulah, Fla., man who was recently killed along with his wife. The Billings’ murders have already resulted in the arrests of numerous suspects and the crime has drawn national attention.
