FOLEY, Ala. — It will all be about life when the American Cancer Society’s “Relay for Life” commences at Heritage Park in Foley on Friday, April 23, at 5 p.m.

Opening ceremonies will begin at 7 p.m. with SugarCane Jane performing at 7:30 p.m. Festivities will include a Luminaria Ceremony at 10 p.m. which will memorialize and honor those who have been touched by cancer.

The awards ceremony will be held at 1 a.m. on April 24 with additional activities scheduled for those who want to Relay all night.

A Survivors Reception will be hosted by the Esoteric Culinary Garden Society at the Performing Arts Association Art Center. The reception will be from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with bus transportation to Heritage Park.

WHEP 1310 AM and 92.5 FM will broadcast opening ceremonies live.
