On Thursday, November 24th, a free Thanksgiving Day Dinner will be served from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in the church Spirit Center, located at 915 N. Pine St. in Foley.
If you need a meal or know of someone else who is, please come and bring them with you. Also, if you do not have family to spend your Thanksgiving with, you are invited to spend it at Foley United Methodist Church with members and friends there.
Meals will also be delivered to shut-ins, or those who are physically unable to come to the church. If you are homebound, please call the church at 251-943-4393, and give them your name, address, and phone number. They will deliver a meal to you.
Cindy Deemer, chairperson for the event, says many volunteers will be working to make this meal possible, and want to share their blessings with those of the community so that they may be blessed and thankful also.
