FOLEY, Ala. - Foley United Methodist Church will begin hosting Galilean beach services on Sundays at 7:30 a.m. on Alabama 182 just east of the Gulf State Park pavilion on the beach.

The first service will be this Sunday, and it will continue through Labor Day weekend. This is the 61st season of the services.

"If it rains, we go to the pavilion," Randy Arp, beach service chairman, said. "The important thing is to bring a chair or a towel or something to sit on. You always can tell those first-time visitors because they are standing."

The dress attire for the event is casual beach attire, and all residents are welcome to attend.
