FOLEY, Ala. — Members of the public are invited to come celebrate Foley’s 100th birthday with a picnic in Heritage Park along with a concert by the Baldwin Pops this Sunday, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Conductor Roger Jones has composed a special Centennial Tribute March to be premiered at the event. Baldwin County high school students nominated by their band directors will perform alongside the Baldwin Pops band. Foley Elementary School’s show choir, FAME, will provide additional live entertainment.
During the picnic, Foley’s Centennial Committee will be presenting certificates to historic churches and businesses.
Bring your own food or purchase from a vendor in the park.
