Anne Latimer Folks died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009 at home in Spanish Fort after a long illness.
She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Colonial Dames, the Magna Carta Society, the American Contract Bridge Association, and First Presbyterian Church of Spanish Fort.
Survivors include her husband, William Martin Folks of Spanish Fort; daughter, Mary Phelps (Henry) Mellen of Birmingham; son Edward King (Sandy) Phelps of Hillsboro, Ore.; four granddaughters, four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Wright Latimer Blue of Washington, Ga.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17 at First Presbyterian Church in Bay Minette.
The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society or to your favorite charity.
