FAIRHOPE, Ala. — The spring 2008 Fairhope Film Series is under way, and will take place every Friday through April 25.

The films are being screened at USA Baldwin County Performance Center, corner of Summit Street and St. James Avenue.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the film starting at 7. A donation will be accepted at the door.

Dr. Christine Bogar, the assistant director of student services, says, “The Fairhope Film Series is a great example of how the university and the local community work together to provide on-going, quality programs for us all to enjoy. This series offers international films that are not available through commercial movie theaters, and it is a great alternative to the mainstream Hollywood genre.”

The Film Series is sponsored by the University of South Alabama Baldwin Campus, The M.W. Smith Jr. Foundation and the Sybil Smith Charitable Trust.

Remaining schedule:
