Fort Morgan Fire Rescue Ladies Auxiliary annual spaghetti dinner fundraiser March 20

Posted

For 29 years, the Fort Morgan Fire Rescue Ladies Auxiliary has held a spaghetti dinner and bake sale fundraiser. The annual fundraiser raises funds for the Fireman’s Benevolence Fund and needed fire equipment.

In 2020, the Fort Morgan Volunteer Fire Department purchased a Lucas Automatic CPR machine thanks to the fundraising efforts of the Auxiliary. The $20,000 device works to resuscitate a victim while the first responder focuses on other areas of treatment.

This year’s event will take place March 20 from 11 a.m. till 2 p.m. at Fire Station 1. Due to COVID – 19 precautions, this year’s meals will be take-out only. For a donation of $8, each meal includes a plate of homemade spaghetti and meat sauce, green salad and garlic bread. Delicious home-baked breads, cakes, cookies, brownies , assorted baked goods and the Ladies Auxiliary cookbook will be available for purchase.  Cash and check are the only forms of payment taken at the event.

Fort Morgan Volunteer Fire Department Station 1 is located at 12105 State Highway 180 West (also known as Fort Morgan Road) between mile markers 12 and 13. Guests are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
