Harold Woodrow Foster, 68, a native of Clarksdale, Miss., and a resident of Fairhope, died Sunday, May 30, 2010 in Fairhope.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, avid fisherman and served four years as the overseer for The Dwelling Place Church Garden Outreach program.
He was a loving, gentle, compassionate husband, father, grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Foster of Fairhope; two sons, Billy (Connie) Foster of Pontatoc, Miss., and Wade Foster of Fairhope; daughter, Alison Foster (Mike) Sharp of Fairhope; one sister, two brothers, six grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A Celebration of Life service was held Tuesday, June 1 at The Dwelling Place Church.
The family requests memorial donations be made to The Dwelling Place Church, 18246 S. Greeno Road, Fairhope, AL 36532.
