GULF SHORES, Ala. — The popular Four Winds Barbershop Chorus returns to St. Andrew by the Sea Community Church for a concert Feb. 8, at 7 p.m.
In past performances at St. Andrew, the group has delighted the audience with renditions of many memorable songs sung with great harmony and enthusiasm.
Comprised of snowbirds and some locals, the group began singing in 1994 with seven members. Now 30-plus strong, the group performs December through March under the leadership of Director Mack Stancil and Assistant Director David McDonald.
Each performance ends with their signature song, “Irish Blessing.”
The St. Andrew Men’s Club is hosting the Four Winds as a fundraiser for the club’s outreach program.
Since there will be no ticket sales, it is suggested you come early for a good seat.
A warm invitation is extended to the public to enjoy this outstanding musical event.
Additional parking will be available at Oyster Bay Village, east of the church.
St. Andrew by the Sea, a Community Church, is located at 17263 Alabama Hwy. 180 West (Fort Morgan Road) in Gulf Shores.
