Frances Burke Smith, 79, a lifelong resident of the Gateswood community, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Daniel “Red” Burke and Douglas Burke.
She is survived by her daughter, Charlesne McCurdy (Joseph Mccurdy) of Robertsdale; two sons, Antionne Burke (Cathy Burke) of Foley and Chuck Smith of Loxley; brother, Clarence Burke Sr. (Carolyn Burke) of Robertsdale; sisters-in-law, Mary Burke of Pensacola and Linda Burke of Robertsdale; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at 10 a.m., at New Hope United Methodist Church in the Gateswood community.
