Frances Davis Waldrop, 85, born in Arley, Ala. and a resident of Bay Minette, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2014 at Oakwood Nursing Home.
Mrs. Waldrop was a member of Eastside Baptist Church In Jasper. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her children, John Waldrop of Paisley, Fla. and Lana (Ronald) Thomas of Bay Minette; her siblings, Max (Betty) Davis of West Palm Beach, Fla., Brenda (Winford) Marion, Rex (Lillie) Davis, Joe (Vickie) Davis and Sue Armistead, all of Palm City, Fla., and Jeanette McCreeless of Georgetown, S.C.; four grandchildren, Teri Scheunemann, Dana Guthrie, John Purvis and Anthony Maione and five great-grandchildren, Haley Johnson, Wyatt Scheunemann, Josh Orick, Trent Orick and Jenna Purvis and Tate Purvis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dorsal Waldrop; and a daughter, Sarah Ann Waldrop.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
