Frances Pullen Novak, age 95, a native of Beaumont, Texas and a resident of Silverhill, Ala., passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015.
Mrs. Novak taught home economics and loved to farm. She was one of the oldest members and still active in the Robertsdale First Baptist Church. She was currently a volunteer of Project Care.
Mrs. Novak is survived by her son, Anthony (Anita) Novak of Silverhill, Ala.; one brother, Jack Pullen of Randurn, Ala.; two grandchildren, Lisa (Dennis) Thomas and Tony (Stephanie) Novak, both of Silverhill, Ala.; and four great-grandchildren, Lauren and Samuel Thomas, and Silas and Arden Novak.
Graveside funeral services and burial will be held Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. from the Silverhill Cemetery.
A visitation will be held Tuesday from 12:30 until 2 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, D.C. 20090-6011.
