Frances Stewart, 58, passed away on Friday, Sept. 19, 2014 in Rabun.
Mrs. Stewart was a native and lifelong resident of Rabun. She attended Dean’s Chapel and New Providence Baptist Church.
Her parents, George Hadley and Luella Stacey; daughter, April Lynn White; and grandson, Joshua Jay White preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Byron Stewart; a son, Stephen Allen White; two daughters, Regina Godwin and Melinda Ann Jackson; a brother, Elick Stacey; three sisters, Sarah Nell Windom, Lena Mae Debose and Linda Parker; and seven grandchildren, Aaron, Tyler, April, Nicole, Jasmine, Hunter and Abby Kate.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, at 1 p.m., at New Providence Baptist Cemetery, with the Rev. Joey Brown, Sister Helen Stewart and the Rev. Ron McGhee officiating.
Burial will follow at Dean Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 22, 2014, from 6 p.m. until the service time at the New Providence Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Aaron Godwin, Tyler White, Hunter Jackson, Matthew Williams, Alonzo Sims and Larry White.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the USA Mitchell Cancer Center or Springhill Home Health and Hospice.
