Francis H. Lammers, 88, of Loxley, Alabama, formerly of Freeport, Florida, died 1:22 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, at his home. He was born May 19, 1933, at home, Ecorse City, Wayne County, Mississippi, to Albert and Edna (Ricker) Lammers.
On Aug. 19, 1974, he married Janette Davis and she survives in Loxley. Also, surviving are his children: Brandi (Lammers) Kirkland, John Lammers resides in California, and Larry Lammers lives in Georgia; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one brother Donald.
He was proceeded in death by a granddaughter: Chloe Kirkland, two sisters; Dorothy and Marlene; five brothers: Melvin, Ralph, Virgil, Paul, Richard.
Mr. Lammers retired from the US Army as a Warrant Officer and US Postal Service. He served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was on the All-Army Rifle team, a Scout Master, Mason, and many other organizations that served the community.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial between 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, at St. Patrick’s in Robertsdale. Condolences can be sent to mackfuneralhome@gmail.com.
Mr. Lammers had a deep reverence for all life. He spent his life serving the things he loved; God, country, and family.
