Frank Miller Jr., age 81, born in Seminary, Miss., and a resident of Stockton, Ala., died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at his residence.
He was an operation engineer (retired) for the City of Houston, Texas. He was a veteran of the Korean War having served with the U.S. Army. He was an active member of the Stockton First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Jane (Morgan) Miller of Stockton; one sister, Lena Mae Geiger of Mobile, and a number of nieces, nephews and loving friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Mary (Lot) Miller and five brothers, B.F. Miller, Lloyd Miller, Lamar Miller, Lettrell Miller and Douglas Miller. The funeral service will be held Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Norris Funeral Home with the Rev. Glen Whitfield officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery in Seminary, Miss., on Monday, March 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 12:30 p.m. until the 2 p.m. service at Norris Funeral Home.
