Frankie A. Wallace, age 80, a native Robertsdale, and a resident of Loxley, passed away July 18, 2012 surrounded by his family.
Mr. Wallace spent years supporting and working with local sports programs. He worked for over 50 years in insurance and upon his retirement, he spent time doing the things he loved most, fishing, hunting, gardening and yard work. Mr. Wallace cherished the time spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was an Alabama and Atlanta Braves Fan. He was preceded in death by parents, Tommy and Nora Wallace, sisters, Louise Billups and Ruby Woods and daughter, Becky Wallace. He is survived by wife of 60 years, Luticia Wallace of Loxley; three daughters, Karen (Mike) Bill of Robertsdale, Lou (Dennis) Paulk of Amarillo, Texas, Stacey Bain of Robertsdale, three sons, Tommy (Kathy) Wallace, Burr (Melinda) Wallace both of Robertsdale, and Bruce (Lynn) Wallace of Foley; two sisters, Sally Bennett of Daphne, Joy Boykin of Fairhope, three brothers, Richard Wallace and Jimmy Wallace both of Robertsdale, and Billy Wallace of Excel, Ala, 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and special family friend, Karl Vance of Robertsdale. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Mack Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Greenwood Cemetery, Loxley. A visitation will be held Friday July 20, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the National Wild Turkey Foundation, P O Box 530, Edgefield, S.C. 29824.
