Robert Arthur Freeman, 66, a lifetime resident of Spanish Fort, died Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at home.
He was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Spanish Fort.
He was preceded in death by his wife and soul mate, Elizabeth F. Freeman, his parents, Floyd and Ruth Freeman, and three brothers, Oliver Freeman Jr., James Freeman and Hugh Freeman Sr.
Survivors include three brothers, Glen (Joyce) Freeman, of Spanish Fort, Eugene (Barbara) Freeman of Pass Christian, Miss., and Harry (Pam) Freeman of Hardy, Ark.; seven children, Tony (Nada) Hinman Sr., William (Martha) Hinman, Dennis (Patricia) Hinman, all of Spanish Fort, Venda (Tommy) Bass and Ricky (Susie) Hinman Sr. of Stapleton, Kathy (Randall) Beams of Stillwood and Bobby (Jennifer) Goram of Perdido; 16 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 29 at Bible Baptist Church of Spanish Fort. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 30 at the church. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Fairhope.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Bible Baptist Church of Spanish Fort.
