FOLEY, Alabama — Most of Baldwin County's high school football teams will be in action on Friday night, with games beginning at 7 p.m.

In Class 6A the Foley Lions will host the Alma Bryant Hurricanes, the Robertsdale Golden Bears will visit Mary G. Montgomery, the Baldwin County Tigers travel to Theodore to face the Bobcats and the Fairhope Pirates step down in class when they visit 5A powerhouse St. Paul's.

Tonight's lone Baldwin County Class 5A game has the Gulf Shores Dolphins hosting the Satsuma Gators at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium at the Gulf Shores Sportsplex.

Baldwin's only Class 3A team, the Bayside Academy Admirals, will host the Charles Henderson Trojans on campus.

Perhaps the most anticipated season opener will be played Monday when the Class 5A Spanish Fort Toros host the 6A Daphne Trojans at 3 p.m. in a game televised nationally by ESPN. The game features numerous college prospects on both teams and also pits the Class 5A and 6A state champions from 2010 against each other for the first time in school history.
